Global Landscape Architecture Grand Award: Advocacy of Traditional Chinese Garden Culture 2025-2026
Chinese culture has a long and glorious history. Traditional Chinese gardens represent the excellent genes of Chinese civilization and are one of the important "unique philosophy and skills" of Chinese wisdom. Since the reform and opening-up, a vast number of outstanding projects inheriting and innovating traditional Chinese gardens have emerged across China. These projects promote sustainable development and enhance the ecological environment for better living, working and leisure.
To commend the outstanding achievements of relevant institutions and individuals for carrying-on traditional Chinese garden culture, Global Academy of Landscape Architecture (GALA) has specially established the "Global Landscape Architecture Grand Award" with the theme of "Advocacy of Traditional Chinese Garden Culture," divided into the following eight categories:
